I absolutely L.O.V.E. breakfast food. Truth be told, I can eat breakfast food 24/7! This week I’m so excited to share a doozie of deliciousness. It’s so easy peasy to make and only takes 20 minutes.

Prepare the basic buttermilk pancakes with the following changes: Increase sugar to ¼ cup and add 1 tsp apple pie spice to the flour mixture. Stir 1 apple (peeled and diced) into the prepared batter before cooking. Cook as directed (using 2 Tbsp batter each for silver dollar pancakes). Serve with maple walnuts: Simmer ½ cup maple syrup and 1/8 tsp salt in a small saucepan over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Mix in ½ cup heavy cream until fully incorporated; then simmer for 1 minute. Stir in ½ cup toasted walnuts (roughly chopped).
** Make it a-la-mode and eat it as a yummy dessert!!!
