Cooler Days, A Thirst-Quencher

Cooler Days

Drink dispensers make summer sipping a breeze. A hot item, like the Nantucket Beverage Jar, from surlatable.com ($50) is my all-time favorite. My girlfriend showed this beverage jar off at her recent BBQ. In addition, she gave me her Rosemary Lemon Drop recipe that is to die for! It was so thirst-quenching and easy to make. Yay!

Rosemary Lemon Drop

Boil 2 cups water, 2 cups sugar, peel from 8 lemons, and 8 rosemary sprigs.  When sugar dissolves, cool and strain.  Fill 4-to 6-quart dispenser with 3 bottles of white wine (such as Pinot Grigio), juice from the 8 lemons, and half the syrup, adding more to taste.  Stir in 6 cups ice, citrus slices, and fresh rosemary sprigs. Ahhhh….so refreshing!
